Functions and Responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst at DITO TELECOMMUNITY is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties to ensure the smooth functioning of business processes related to billing, customer management, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Requirements Gathering:

  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for BSS-related projects.

  3. Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to identify needs and expectations.

  4. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.

  5. Solution Design:

  6. Analyze existing BSS systems and processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

  7. Design and propose solutions that align with business goals, ensuring feasibility and scalability.

  8. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the technical implementation of solutions.

  9. Process Analysis and Optimization:

  10. Map current business processes and identify areas for process optimization within the BSS domain.

  11. Develop process models and workflows that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  12. Ensure that solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  13. Project Management Support:

  14. Assist in the planning and execution of BSS-related projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

  15. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to ensure successful project execution.

  16. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  17. System Testing and Validation:

  18. Define test cases and scenarios to validate that the solutions meet business requirements.

  19. Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance processes.

  20. Identify and resolve issues during the testing phase.

  21. Documentation and Reporting:

  22. Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.

  23. Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and issues to senior management.

  24. Maintain documentation of business processes and system configurations.

  25. Stakeholder Communication:

  26. Act as the liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and expectations.

  27. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress.

  28. Provide training and support to business users on new BSS solutions.

  29. Continuous Improvement:

  30. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in telecom BSS.

  31. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the BSS domain.
  32. Support the development of strategies for future BSS enhancements and upgrades.

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of telecom BSS processes, including billing, CRM, order management, and revenue assurance.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • 3 and above years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the telecom BSS domain is a plus.
  • Experience with customized BSS platform is a plus.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
