We're seeking a Data Engineer skilled in Python, SQL, and AWS data services to design and build reliable, scalable data pipelines and dimensional models. This role turns raw data into actionable insights while ensuring data quality, performance, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Build and optimize dimensional models (fact/dimension tables, data marts).
  • Ingest and transform data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, streams).
  • Implement data quality, validation, and documentation practices.
  • Optimize pipeline performance and support data migrations (SQL Server → Aurora Postgres).
  • Develop Power BI dashboards leveraging warehouse structures.
  • Use AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena) for scalable processing.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.

Required Experience

  • Proven ability to build robust, domain-specific data pipelines.
  • Strong Python (pandas, numpy) and advanced SQL expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS data stack and Snowflake.
  • Skilled in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
  • Familiarity with data testing, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Power BI, data quality frameworks, and data governance.
  • Proficient with JSON, CSV, Parquet, and API-based data integration.

Preferred

  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, government).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, FedRAMP, and real-time data processing (Kinesis/EventBridge).
  • Familiar with IaC tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and Git-based CI/CD.
  • Exposure to metadata management, advanced analytics, or ML data prep.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php150, Php175,000.00 per month
