Teachable LMS Course, Slide Creation and consultation.

Polish the draft slide, video and audio content of a subject matter expert into a professional Teachable course.


• Initial stage is to advise on type of raw video and audio content needed to create draft that can be improved


• Decide when voice over slide is best for content, or speaker video full screen or split slide and speaker format.


• Format slides in consultation with subject matter expert to use branding colours and logo, consistent fonts and content for maximum engagement and accessibility.


• Assist with quiz and professional workbook creation


• Creation of course landing page

The course is likely to be divided into 8 modules and contain approximately 90 slides. Some slides will have embedded video.

Job Description Breakdown

  • Teachable LMS Expertise:Proficiency in using Teachable's platformto build, manage, and deliver online courses.
  • Course Design & Development:Creating comprehensive online courses from conception to completion, including structuring modules, lessons, and assessments.
  • Slide Creation:Designing and developing engaging visual aids, presentations, and other slide-based content to supplement course material.
  • Quiz Development:Crafting interactive and effective quizzes within Teachable to assess student understanding and retention.
  • Content Strategy:Planning and organizing course content to align with learning objectives and target audience needs.
  • Student Engagement:Implementing features and content strategies within Teachable to maximize student interaction and completion rates.
  • Platform Management:Utilizing the Teachable admin area to add, edit, and organize course content effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and build online courses within the Teachable Learning Management System (LMS) platform in consultation with subject matter expert.
  • Create and integrate interactive quizzes, assessments, and assignments.
  • Improve existing slide presentation and other multimedia content
  • Structure course content logically, ensuring a smooth and effective learning path for students.
  • Monitor student progress and engagement within the Teachable platform.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles.
  • Expertise in using the Teachable LMS platform.
  • Skills in graphic design and multimedia content creation. Must include current microsoft powerpoint program
  • Excellent organizational and content planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills for writing course content and working collaboratively with subject matter expert
  • Provide examples of previous Teachable courses created
  • Provide 3 professional referees where the creation of Teachable course content was part of the candidates position description
