Role Overview
Do you dream of exploring fantastical worlds, epic dungeons, and bustling cities? Do your thumbs ache to conquer joystick kingdoms and unravel pixelated mysteries? Are you the cartographer of your digital dreamscapes?

We're searching for a passionate, detail-oriented, and imaginative individual to join our team as a Video Game Map Creator. You'll be our intrepid explorer, venturing into the uncharted territories of the latest and greatest video games, meticulously charting your course, and crafting visually stunning, interactive maps for our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play various video games across different genres and platforms, focusing on open-world RPGs and adventure titles.
  • Explore every nook and cranny of each game, documenting key locations, landmarks, NPCs, and gameplay elements.
  • Create visually appealing and informative maps.
  • Integrate interactive features like points of interest, resource markers, quest pathways, and enemy spawns.
  • Write engaging map descriptions and annotations, highlighting lore, secrets, and strategic tips.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure maps are consistent, accurate, and user-friendly.

  • A dedicated gamer with a deep understanding of video game mechanics and level design.
  • A cartography enthusiast with an eye for detail and a talent for spatial awareness.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys sharing your passion for games.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with streaming or content creation for video games.
  • A skilled graphic designer or mapmaker with experience in relevant software (Photoshop, Illustrator, dedicated mapping tools, etc.).
