PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Power BI Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and analytical reports that deliver actionable business insights. This role requires strong data visualization and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful and user-friendly visual representations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, business-savvy, and passionate about using data to drive decisions. Experience with
Excel Macros/VBA

SQL
will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize
  Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics and trends across business functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders
  to understand data requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency
  by connecting, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources using Power Query, DAX, and other tools.
• Perform data analysis
  to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities that support business decision-making.
• Maintain and enhance existing dashboards
  for improved usability, performance, and data storytelling impact.
• Automate and streamline data processes
  through
  Excel Macros and VBA
  scripting when applicable.
• Leverage Alteryx
  workflows or
  SQL queries
  to extract, blend, and prepare data for visualization and reporting.
• Ensure compliance and data integrity
  in all reporting outputs, following company data governance and privacy standards.
• Collaborate with IT and analytics teams
  to improve data pipelines, optimize queries, and support system integrations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience
  in business intelligence, data visualization, or analytics roles.
• Proven expertise in
  Power BI
  (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, dashboard design).
• Strong understanding of
  data visualization best practices
  and storytelling through data.
• Advanced proficiency in
  Microsoft Excel
  , with experience in
  Macros and VBA
  scripting preferred.
• Experience with
  Alteryx
  for data blending and process automation is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of
  SQL
  for data extraction and transformation is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment.
