CAMPUS FACILITY & SAFETY SUPERVISOR Role Description (with experience only)
This is a full-time on-site role for a supervisor role at NST to be based at our main campus in Tanauan City. We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented person to orchestrate a thriving school environment through facility management, team leadership, and fostering a safe and inspiring learning space for student success. This role requires experience and expertise in operating a large campus with multiple buildings and more than a thousand people in the school community, hence it is NOT open to fresh graduates or anyone without industry experience.
Aside from having experience working in a school, we are open to applicants with experience in the operations of large private corps, high end hotels/resorts, property managers of villages and buildings, construction /factory safety officers or large retails establishments (eg malls, mini-malls, commercial centers)
Responsibilities
Facility Management:
- Oversee the overall upkeep and maintenance of school facilities.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate repairs and renovations with contractors and internal teams.
- Manage inventory and procurement of supplies for facility maintenance.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and provide direction to the engineering, maintenance, safety & security teams.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff competency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Safety & Security:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for the school environment.
- Oversee security measures and ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
Learning Environment:
- Ensure all classrooms, common areas, and learning spaces are maintained in a clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing condition.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address specific needs for learning spaces.
- Implement initiatives to create a healthy and inspirational learning environment.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as administration, academics, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and efficient resource allocation.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding facility needs and projects.
- Provide timely professional reports with written summary, photos, diagrams and gantt charts to management.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience (as mentioned above) and/or 3 years industry Operation experience
- Excellent business writing skills e.g. proposals, memos, letters to students/parents
- Strong understanding of safety and security protocols, with experience in implementing and enforcing them.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills demonstrated by the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively with teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency or adaptability in using Google Workspace Systems, Project Management Systems and other digital productivity tools used by the school. (required)
- Knowledgeable in LGU (Local Government Unit) regulations, BFP (Bureau of Fire Protection) codes, Barangay requirements, and other protocols for school operations.
- Experience in dealing with LGU, BFP, and Barangay representatives regarding permits, inspections, and safety compliance.

Pay: Php25, Php28,000.00 per month
