Job Overview:

The Junior Financial Reporting Analyst assists the Finance team in compiling, reviewing, and analyzing financial information used for internal reporting and management decision-making. This position focuses on data accuracy, financial analysis, and report preparation to support business operations and compliance requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of regular financial reports such as monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Assist in analyzing financial results by comparing actual figures against budgets and prior periods.
  • Collect, organize, and validate financial data from various departments to ensure reliable reporting.
  • Help generate financial summaries, schedules, and supporting documents for management use.
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Finance, and Audit teams to support audit requirements and data requests.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial reports and working papers.
  • Contribute to improving reporting procedures to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing financial insights and basic analysis for internal presentations and reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related course.
  • Open to fresh graduates; relevant internship or work experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements and reporting concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic reporting tools.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
