Job Description

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will prepare high-quality financial statements under IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards. The Qualifications We Seek

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce with an Accounting major
  • Completed CPA or equivalent qualification, or nearing completion

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes

  • 2-3 years of experience in a financial reporting role
  • Strong working knowledge and application of IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team

Your Daily Tasks

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Prepare consolidation workpapers, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules
  • Manage timelines for financial statement completion and coordinate information flow to meet deadlines
  • Identify and resolve technical accounting and financial reporting issues
  • Ensure each engagement is completed to a high-quality standard, within budget and deadlines
  • Liaise with audit teams when acting as auditors for assigned clients
  • Work closely with managers on engagement timelines and client or audit communications
