About the role:

Strategically sources suppliers, negotiates terms (price, quantity, quality), and processes purchase orders for medical and non-medical products and equipment to maximize value and quality.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Sources and qualifies suppliers by identifying potential vendors and evaluating their capabilities.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in the procurement process from requisition to order fulfillment, ensuring timely and efficient acquisition.
  • Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable contracts.
  • Processes purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintains vendor relationships by building strong, collaborative partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Monitors supplier performance metrics (e.g., delivery times, quality) and addresses any issues.
  • Identifies cost savings opportunities by analyzing spending patterns and exploring ways to reduce costs.
  • Coordinates with respective departments for timely payment of vendors
  • Contributes to procurement strategy by participating in the development and implementation of initiatives.
  • Researches market conditions and identifies potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
  • Coordinate with medical suppliers for equipment importation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, supply Chain or other related programs.
  • At least 1 year work experience in purchasing and other related fields
  • Willing to work onsite in Caloocan
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Good Communication Skills - Fluent in Filipino and English
  • Must be Assertive
  • Has an understanding of risk management
  • Exceptional Negotiation skills
  • Prior experience in importation is a plus
  • Previous experience within the medical field is an edge.
  • Computer Literate
  • Organization and Prioritization skills
  • Attention to details

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php25,000.00 per month
