Work Arrangement: On-Site I Night ShiftWork Schedule:(1st Month) Mon - Friday, 11PM - 8AM PHTAfter 1 month, Sat - Wed, 4AM - 1PMPHTAs an IT Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients by independently resolving technical issues for our customers, maintaining system integrity, and responding to alerts from our monitoring and security platforms.

This is a highly autonomous position ideal for a self-motivated technician with strong troubleshooting skills and a desire to grow into a cybersecurity-focused role. About the JobIndependently manage and resolve service desk tickets across Windows desktop/server, Microsoft 365, networking, and common infrastructure platforms

Serve as the first responder for alerts from RMM and security tools—troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate per documented procedures

Perform patching, software deployment, and system maintenance tasks with minimal oversight

Execute basic cybersecurity workflows such as:Monitoring and triaging alerts from our deployed security tools

Perform routine checks for device compliance and flag any systems out of policy (e.g., unencrypted drives, outdated AV definitions, missing patches)Running vulnerability scans, documenting findings, and conducting remediation

Create and maintain clear, concise documentation in ITGlue and AutotaskHandle user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and device setup

Flag trends, misconfigurations, or high-risk activity for senior engineers and the security team

Proactively look for opportunities to improve processes and catch issues before they become incidents

Your QualificationCritical thinking skills

At least 2 years in a technical support, NOC, or service desk role (MSP experience strongly preferred)A strong focus on customer service

Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems without close supervision

Solid troubleshooting across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, and remote tools

Familiarity with endpoint protection tools, MFA, patching, and basic vulnerability management

Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and ExcelBasic understanding of PC/laptop hardware and printers

Professional written English and customer service communication skills

High attention to detail in documentation and ticket handling

Nice to have:Previous exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, alert triage, or security tools like NIST , NIST CSF, XDR platforms, VulScan, or VonahiExperience managing firewalls and VPN configurationsCompTIA Security+, SC-900, or other entry-level security certifications (or in progress)Experience working solo or on low supervision in a service delivery setting

Experience with malware and virus removal

Email flow troubleshooting experience
