Job Description

As a Loan Administrator, you will provide essential support to brokers by managing product changes, clarifying lender policies, and assisting with loan processing. You'll ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient transactions while helping clients and partners achieve their property goals with confidence.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential lending
  • At least 1-2 years of administrative support experience in the AU mortgage industry, including credit management
  • Hands-on experience with loan lodgement processes
  • Proficient in ApplyOnline and property valuation tools (CoreLogic)
  • Strong understanding of lending terminology, policies, and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong task prioritization and ability to manage shifting deadlines
  • Self-managed with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Critical thinker with a proactive approach
  • Professional, personable, and relationship-focused
  • Team player with a results-driven mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) or equivalent is highly preferred

Your Daily Tasks

  • Interpret, clarify, and implement product changes in the product catalogue and policy updates in the lender policy database.
  • Provide support to the broker network via email, phone, and the Lending Advice Forum for inquiries about broker systems.
  • Offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and assistance to brokers on policies, deal structuring, and complex lending scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot product and policy issues promptly and effectively.
  • Communicate lender updates and policy changes across the franchise network.
