IT Business Analyst

Position Overview: We are searching for a highly experienced Business Analyst with expertise in loan management systems, loan origination systems, past due loans, credit investigation, credit evaluation, and remedial loans within the Philippine banking operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing our loan processes to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business requirements for loan management and origination systems and propose improvements to the current business process of the bank.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business needs in loan operations.
• Develop solutions for managing past due and remedial loans, minimizing risks, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct credit investigations and evaluations to assess borrower risk and make informed lending decisions.
• Perform data analysis to provide actionable insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Partner with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of loan systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on loan management and origination systems.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve loan processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Tasks:

Requirements Gathering: Conducting interviews, and research to gather and document business requirements for loan products, processes, and systems.

Process Analysis: Analyzing the bank's existing loan processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to streamline operations.

Solution Design: Working closely with stakeholders to design and document solutions that meet the identified business requirements.

System Testing: Participating in user acceptance testing and ensuring that the implemented solutions align with the documented requirements.

Training and Documentation: Developing training materials and user guides to support the successful adoption of new loan systems or processes.

Data Analysis and Visualization: Using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI to analyze data and create interactive dashboards and reports.

Process Modeling and Documentation: Creating visual representations of loan workflows using tools like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) or any tool available.

Requirements Management: Ensuring that lending solutions align with business needs through effective requirements management.

Business Analysts in this field must work closely with the bank loan project team, loan officers, underwriters, risk managers, and IT teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with industry standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the Philippine banking industry.
• In-depth knowledge of loan management systems and loan origination systems.
• Proven experience in managing past due and remedial loans.
• Strong background in credit investigation and evaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and analytical tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with local banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month
