Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities of Your Role

  • Manage all accounting operations:
     Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Financial reporting:
     Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Budgeting and forecasting:
     Develop and manage budgets and provide financial forecasts.
  • Tax compliance:
     Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings across multiple states.
  • Audit preparation:
     Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Reconciliation:
     Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Financial analysis:
     Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Software proficiency:
     Utilize accounting software and tools for efficient financial management.

Procurement:

  • Sourcing and supplier management:
     Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
  • Purchase order management:
     Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Inventory management:
     Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels.
  • Vendor relations:
     Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Cost control:
     Track and manage procurement costs to stay within budget.
  • Documentation:
     Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.

Qualifications

  • Education:
     Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:
     Several years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a managed service provider environment.
  • Skills:
     Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AutoTask), strong negotiation skills, proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Microsoft purchasing and hardware).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
