Job Descriptions:

  • Perform quality checks on all subtitle files for foreign vertical dramas, ensuring accuracy, proper timing, and natural language flow in both English and Tagalog.
  • Develop a clear understanding of cultural nuances and localization standards to ensure foreign content is appropriately adapted for the Filipino market.
  • Provide input and support during script development to ensure narratives align with current market trends and appeal to the target demographic (younger Filipinos).
  • Conduct quality checking and alignment across pre-production, production, and post-production phases, ensuring all content meets technical, editorial, and strategic requirements.
  • Serve as the content "gatekeeper," advocating for unique and high-impact themes beyond common tropes (e.g., revenge, cheating) to elevate our drama offerings.
  • Help manage the post-production workflow to ensure all final drama files, including video, audio, subtitles, and metadata, are properly accounted for.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Philippine Drama Production:
     At least 1 year of professional experience in the Philippine film, TV, or digital drama production industry (e.g., in a production assistant, segment producer, script analyst, or similar capacity).
  • Audience Pulse:
     A keen understanding and current knowledge of Filipino, especially Gen Z and Millennial, content consumption habits and preferences in the digital/vertical drama space.
  • Language Fluency:
     Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Tagalog is essential, with demonstrated competency in subtitling/translation QC.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with digital-first or vertical video formats (e.g., TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively across creative, production, and technical teams.
