Responsibilities and duties:

- Compliance and accuracy: Ensure financial records, statements, and reports are accurate, reliable, and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Risk assessment: Identify and evaluate financial risks within the organization.
- Process evaluation: Examine company policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure they are effective and recommend improvements.
- Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports on audit findings and present recommendations to management.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed work papers and audit files.
- Collaboration: Work with other team members, management, and staff to gather information and discuss findings.
- Asset protection: Ensure that the company's assets are protected from fraud or misuse.
