Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or any related course
  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in retail store operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains an administrative schedule of renewals, payments, etc to ensure the timely processing of all requirements by coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Conducts regular checks and audits and examine all relevant materials and data to protect the company's resources and interests
  • Monitors and checks ordering of Area Supervisor and ensure that store %COGS is within the allowed threshold.
  • Analyzes sales data thru sales comparison (Gross sales vs. last year vs. last month vs. last week trend) and financial statement. Give out recommendations on areas that need to be improved and ensure that approved recommendations are implemented.
  • Oversees the job of the Area Supervisor in cross checking personnel documents, stock inventories, cash sales and expense reports to ensure that all company standards are met.
  • Personnel Management
  • In coordination with Human Resources, selects appropriate service crew and store supervisors.
  • Manages personnel by reviewing performance against targets, providing guidance, direction and conducting disciplinary procedures as necessary
  • Conducts initial investigation on issues that affects store operations.
  • Endorses the same to HR for proper hearing and gives out recommendations relative to involved personnel
  • Provides relevant information to the Retail Operations Manager that is vital to the business
  • Emerging threats to the business such as competition, unusual employee movements, and any other activities that threaten the stability of the business.
  • Potential locations or business opportunities to further grow sales within his/her area.
  • Builds rapport/relationship and PR to the mall key personnel or lessors.
