A graduate of industrial engineering, mathematics, physics or any related courses;

Preferably with at least two (2) years' experience as a plant manufacturing supervisor in a food manufacturing or equivalent professional practice

Proficient in Basic Computer programs (word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software and internet navigation and email)

Excellent in written and communication skills

Highly Organized and has an eye for detail

Has knowledge and experience in time and motion

Strict in implementing of rules, regulations & policies

Physically fit

  • Supervises the day to day operations of plant & manufacturing department of the organization;
  • Monitors and ensures all products requested are achieved on scheduled time;
  • Responsible for production schedules, shifting schedules, manpower headcount to ensure operations runs smoothly;
  • Performs documentations, reports such as forecasting on sales operation and finished good inventory and other related information in plant and manufacturing activities;
  • Responsible for product quality control and monitors daily usage based on production output which requires product formula;
  • Implements company's standard operating procedures and all environment, safety, health and housekeeping policies and procedures and ensures it is strictly observed and followed;
  • Helps in developing and implementing plant and manufacturing policies and procedures to enhance operational performance and productivity in day to day activities;
  • Ensures all production efficiency cost is met based on daily target (total production output);
  • Monitors initial packing of products and ensures standard protocol are strictly followed;
  • Monitors products that are scarp and rejected and determines which is useful and recommends strategies for improvement and profitability;
  • Ensures all product line has a constant supply of raw materials or ingredients to achieved requested products on scheduled time;
  • Monitors production targets, customer orders, availability of stocks and supplies are complete to ensure operation activities are continuous and products are produced on scheduled time to meet customers demands;
  • Coordinates schedule of delivery of shipment to ensure proper documentation is followed;
  • Monitors operational expenses and recommends cost- reduction strategies while maintaining products quality and standards;
  • Helps in coordinating other departments on manpower headcount, quality control, inventory control, purchasing, warehousing, logistics equipment to determine status of various projects and operations and recommends strategies for improvement of day to day activities;
  • Helps in developing and implementing plant and manufacturing policies and procedures to enhance operational performance and productivity in day to day activities;
  • Maintains harmony of the workforce;
  • Supervises and trains staff in performing their respective duties and responsibilities;
  • Executes personnel policies and disciplinary actions among his/her subordinates;
  • Performs related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
