DepartmentPlant Quality Assurance - CebuEmployee TypeProbationarySupervises the activities of QA Analyst assigned in Chemical Laboratory. Reviews and certifies physico-chemical test reports. Generates and releases test reports to customers, as necessary.
Ensures safety of the staff and ensures that the company follows the standard chemical laboratory safety regulationConducts regular laboratory inspections, risk assessment and prepares CAR as necessary. Performs troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, as necessary. Responsible for the smooth operation of the laboratory by ensuring flawless performance of laboratory equipment.
Participates in and/or facilitates interlaboratory/ intralaboratory comparison or proficiency testing programs. Trains new Laboratory QA Analyst. Adheres with safe laboratory practices and good housekeeping measures in performing the function.
Reports any concern affecting the operation execution to his/her immediate superior to ensure timely releasing of reliable and accurate results. Complies to Good Manufacturing Practices, Laboratory Management System and company rules & regulations.
Conducts audits at planned interval to determine conformity to planned arrangements, and requirements established by organization; effectively implemented and updated. Performs other functions as may be assigned by superior. Initiates improvement projects related to laboratory and product quality.
