Senior Specialist Accounts Payable

By joining us as a Senior Specialist, Accounts Payable, you are responsible for issue resolutions including vendor or stakeholders' inquiry. You will apply appropriate internal controls, GAAP, and Emerson company policies and procedures. You will perform fewer complex reports and reconciliation, including invoice issue resolution and conduct training and be in charge with the team.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Perform Vendor Statement of Account Reconciliation, request copies of missing invoices, and settle reconciling items.
Research, investigate, and gather information to clear disputed invoices.
Coordinate with buyers/vendors to educate proper handling of disputes identified.
Reconcile sub-ledger vs general ledger, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
Perform month-end activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:
At least 4.5 years of relevant working experience in Finance and Accounting.
At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
With relevant experience in handling vendor and stakeholder's inquiries, issue resolution, and accounts reconciliation.
2 years' minimum experience with accounting ERP, preferably Oracle or SAP.
