JOB SUMMARYResponsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department.

GENERAL TASK DESCRIPTION
• Supervise the daily operation of assigned section

• Schedule and delegate work to accounting clerks

• Oversee the maintenance of records and files

• Assist the Accounting Manager to create annual team objectives

• Prepare budgets regularly

• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws

• Monitor expenditure and profits and providing reports

• Administer all accounts and budgets for various departments

• Reconcile accounts / records and generates accurate reports in a timely manner

• Prepare invoices, verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records

• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). Enters data into computer system using SAP

• Match and verify cash expenses, research and correct discrepancies

• Responsible in financial management and analysis; month-end closing

• Process and audit check requests

• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately

• Report Validation - for data accuracy

• Data Analysis - submits regular analysis report on discrepancies noted on processed invoices and payment documents. Submits recommendation on actions to be taken
