At Manulife IT Delivery Center, we are looking for a rock star Associate Quality Engineer who is excited to make our cloud applications highly reliable, resilient, and performing at a stellar level to pursue our ambition in becoming the Digital Customer Leader in the Insurance Industry. We are looking for someone with:1-3 years experience in software test engineering/quality engineering

Bachelor's degree, notably in computer information science, computer science, or equivalent

Ability to analyze requirements, define scope of testing, and derive test scenarios and test cases

Experience in test case management, defect management, and test automation tools

Understanding of various testing phases

On the job you will:Work as part of an agile team, participating in all aspects of the agile process and ceremonies

Create automation scripts from scratch

Build and execute automation suites

Debug automation test results

Create config files to integrate into CI/CDMaintain the existing automation framework (feature changes, data, and scripts)Adhere to Quality Engineering processes and documentation throughout the testing cycle

Review automation test scripts/code changes to establish best practices for the team

Identify tests that provide value

Analyze specific problems within the test process and propose effective solutions

Participate in test improvement activities that meet business objectives

Suggest appropriate business-driven decisions on improvements to the test process
