Job Description:

  • Oversee and coordinate all regulatory, licensing, and compliance obligations across all operating markets, ensuring timely submissions and renewals.
  • Maintain the Global Compliance Calendar and proactively prepare for seasonal filing cycles, regulatory deadlines, and annual requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing regulatory research and compile updates relating to TPA regulations, corporate governance requirements, data privacy laws, and operational compliance across various jurisdictions.
  • Liaise with external consultants, corporate secretaries, and regulatory bodies to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all compliance activities.
  • Maintain an organized, systematic compliance documentation repository, ensuring all filings, proofs, certificates, licenses, and correspondences are accessible and properly archived.
  • Draft, update, and refine internal compliance policies, guidelines, and SOPs for vetting and approval.
  • Conduct compliance onboarding sessions and facilitate regular compliance trainings, huddles, and refresher workshops.
  • Draft and administer compliance tests, quizzes, and assessments to evaluate employee understanding and compliance readiness.
  • Conduct internal audits, including BCP readiness checks, policy adherence reviews, documentation audits, and privacy/security compliance assessments.
  • Work closely with internal teams (People Ops, Finance, IT, Operations) to ensure alignment between internal policies and external regulatory obligations.
  • Prepare compliance alerts, summaries, and reports for Management when significant changes, risks, or upcoming obligations arise.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and knowledge guides to support continuity and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements aimed at reducing red tape, strengthening operational efficiency, and optimizing compliance workflows across markets.
  • Provide cross-functional support to other departments during periods of minimal or zero compliance workload, while maintaining readiness for compliance activities.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and systematic, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation, trackers, calendars, and compliance repositories across multiple markets.
  • Exceptional Outlook, calendar management, and MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong ability to manage reminders, deadlines, timelines, and structured filing systems.
  • Not shy or meek ---- must be confident, assertive, and able to represent the Compliance function with professionalism and authority.
  • Comfortable engaging with the CEO, senior management team, Legal, and external consultants, and capable of escalating matters appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, producing error-free work (no need for micromanagement on typos, formatting, or documentation accuracy).
  • Excellent communication skills ----- eloquent, articulate, and able to carry themselves confidently when communicating with regulators, partners, external consultants, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of compliance concepts, corporate governance fundamentals, and cross-border regulatory obligations.
  • Exceptional research skills, especially when exploring compliance requirements in unfamiliar countries or new industries.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining accountability and initiative.
  • Highly proactive, forward-thinking, and capable of anticipating compliance needs and risks before they arise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Legal Management, or related discipline is preferred.
  • Possession of any compliance-related certificates is an advantage
