About the role

STI College Tanauan is seeking an Information Technology Faculty Member to join our growing team. This full-time role will be based in Tanauan City, Batangas and involves delivering engaging and effective IT education to our students. As a respected institution in the field of Education, we are committed to providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the dynamic world of technology.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain a current knowledge of teaching discipline/field of study evidenced in Teaching Portfolio.
  • Teaches material from an approved curriculum.
  • Designs assignments / tasks to conform to the objectives of the courses in the curriculum.
  • Provide clear documentation of student progress, student advising, and support of the academic success for at-risk students.
  • Maintain current and active knowledge in assigned course in order to bring examples and ideas to students.
  • Monitor and keep daily log of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress.
  • Utilize the daily lesson plans, activities, and quizzes provided as stipulated in the curriculum.
  • Develop an end-of-year project based on the curriculum

What we're looking for

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1-2 years experience in the Academe is an advantage.
  • Master's degree in an aligned discipline is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts, technologies, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering innovative and effective teaching materials
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the overall growth of the department
