About the role

STI College Tanauan is seeking a part-time Foreign Language Instructor to teach Mandarin at our campus in Tanauan City, Batangas. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mandarin language lessons to our students. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and passion for language education with a growing institution.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and delivering interactive Mandarin language lessons to students at the tertiary level
  • Developing course materials, lesson plans and assessment tools to support student learning
  • Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their Mandarin language skills
  • Collaborating with the education team to continuously enhance the Mandarin language curriculum
  • Participating in department meetings and professional development activities

What we're looking for

  • Graduate of any 4 year program
  • Must have certification/s for teaching Mandarin.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in the Academe is an advantage but not required as long as the applicant has certification/s to teach the language
  • Strong teaching and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Familiarity with language teaching methodologies and curriculum development
  • Experience in creating and using a variety of instructional materials and technologies
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student success
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork, professionalism, and a positive, proactive attitude.
