We are seeking an experienced
SAP FICO Consultant
with deep expertise in
data migration
and
finance transformation projects
. The consultant will play a key role in the migration of financial data from legacy systems to
SAP S/4HANA
, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and business continuity throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead
  end-to-end data migration activities
  within SAP FICO covering master and transactional data.
• Conduct
  fit-gap analysis
  , define migration scope, and align with finance and business teams.
• Design and execute
  data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
  processes.
• Utilize
  SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, BODS, or other migration tools
  for data load and validation.
• Work closely with
  FI/CO teams
  on sub-modules such as
  GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO-CCA/IO/PCA
  .
• Collaborate with
  technical teams
  for data validation, reconciliation, and error resolution.
• Perform
  mock runs, dry runs, and cutover activities
  ensuring successful go-live migration.
• Develop and maintain
  functional specifications
  , data templates, and mapping documents.
• Support
  UAT, system testing
  , and provide hypercare support post go-live.
• Ensure all financial postings and balances align with legacy system values post-migration.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years
  of SAP FICO experience with at least
  2 full-cycle implementation projects
  .
• Minimum
  2+ years
  of hands-on experience in
  data migration
  (S/4HANA preferred).
• Strong expertise in
  GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO
  modules, including integration with MM, SD, and PP.
• In-depth knowledge of
  migration tools
  such as
  SAP BODS, LTMC, LSMW, and Migration Cockpit
  .
• Experience in
  reconciliation and validation
  between SAP and legacy data.
• Familiarity with
  Finance data objects
  (Vendor, Customer, Cost Center, GL Account, Asset Master, Open Items).
• Good understanding of
  S/4HANA Finance (Central Finance)
  and Universal Journal concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting or Management Accounting with SAP S/4HANA
  .
• Exposure to
  public sector, manufacturing, or energy industries
  .
• Experience in
  data cleansing, governance, and migration strategy development
  .
