Job Description: AI/ML Consultant.

Location: Manila-Hybrid.

Scope of Work

This Scope of Work outlines the responsibilities of the AI Machine Learning Consultant in developing models and tools that enhance data-driven decision-making across project lifecycle stages. The consultant will work closely with SovOps development and portfolio management teams to analyze operational data and improve project performance monitoring.

Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output

AI/ML Model Development:

  • Design and implement machine learning models to analyze project processing and implementation data.
  • Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques and LLMs to extract insights from unstructured data (e.g., project documents, reports, communications).
  • Develop predictive models to identify trends, risks, and performance indicators.

Data Engineering and Integration:

  • Clean, transform, and structure raw data from various sources for model training and analysis.
  • Integrate AI/ML outputs into existing BIOC dashboards and reporting tools.

Insight Generation and Visualization:

  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for project teams.
  • Develop visualizations and summaries to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Collaboration and Capacity Building:

  • Work closely with SovOps and Portfolio Management teams to align AI solutions with operational needs.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to internal staff on AI/ML methodologies and tools.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare technical documentation, model specifications, and user guides.
  • Report progress regularly to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in AI/ML application, preferably in development or portfolio management contexts. 8 years general experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with NLP, data mining, and working with unstructured datasets.
  • Familiarity with ADB project data or similar development finance datasets is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
