BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of operations in the assigned area or station by attending to the needs and other requirements of the operators. Assists the Production Supervisor in overseeing and monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews and discuss with Production Supervisor the status of lots in accordance with set plans, scheduling, priorities and customer specifications.

Directly supervises all activities of the operators related to production, behavioral and attendance issues.

Ensures that all materials needed in production are complete and accurate to avoid down time and delays.

Performs initial checking in worksheets and disseminate any change in customer instructions to operators.

Monitors closely and ensures that standard operating procedures are followed properly.

Informs HR pertaining to administrative and disciplinary concerns or issues. Including changes in employees status, absenteeism, accidents at work or any health and behavioral related concerns.

Implements and monitors proper housekeeping in line.

Gathers and summarizes production output at the end of the shift and submits to the BU head.

Implements an organized/systematic communication system with co-line leaders to ensure proper dissemination.

Monitors daily attendance and tardiness of operators.

Ensures operators/inspectors ' proper filing of overtime, change of shift, leave and official business to ensure availability of manpower support during daily production operations and to avoid payment delays/issues during payroll cut-off.

Monitors employees issues, employees misconduct, and violations of the company policies and procedures to ensure proper corrective measures are being served and implemented.

Provides necessary information and instructions to newly hired production operators to avoid future problem.

Performs other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of Bachelors/College Degree.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in the field of semicon and electronics
  • Above average communication skills
  • Must have a strong leadership skills
  • Focused, analytical, organized, systematic, with high tolerance for stress, pleasant disposition and excellent judgment skills
  • Computer literate
