Specific Duties And Responsibilities

  • Work with large data volumes efficiently using Pentaho Data Integration for the purposes of reporting, segmentation, predicting customer behavior, and other ad hoc requests
  • Design and develop MicroStrategy (version 10.4, 11.0) Reports, Documents, Cubes, Dashboards and Scorecards per specified requirements and timelines
  • Design and introduce new processes and solutions to drive sophisticated BI processes
  • Take part in defining the overall data integration architecture (e.g. ETL processes, Data Marts, OLAP)
  • Implement defined documentation and programming standards for projects and provide a documentation framework including requirements, design, testing and deployment documents
  • Maintain and expand existing knowledge of Business Intelligence and current technology through training opportunities
  • Explore new sources of information to expand insight opportunities

COMPETENCIES
Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

  • More than 8 years of developer experience using C#, ASP.NET Core Razor, .NET Core API, Docker, Python, HTML5, CSS (2,3,4), jQuery, JavaScript, Windows IIS and Openshift.
  • More than 8 years of experience with SQL Technologies to include T-SQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL and ElasticSearch(desirable).
  • More than 5 years of experience Web services using REST (JSON) / SOAP. Knowledge with JQuery and AJAX
  • More than 5 years of knowledge with Secure Coding Techniques e.g. sSDLC and OWASP.
  • More than 2 years of experience using CI/CD pipeline and test automation systems (Gitlab, Checkmarkx and SonarQube)

Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have Competencies)

  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to effectively convey a point and gain support from stakeholders. Strong English verbal & written skills.
  • Excellent at breaking down complex problems. Self-starter who can work independently.
  • Experience working in an environment where the team and applications support processes around Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliancy.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and BAF (Bell application framework) using Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence and Gitlab.
  • Experience in the telecommunications domain.
  • Ability to work on application support rotation (internal service desk) with the rest of the development team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours if required during deployment & normalization.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent

  • Work from Home Setup
  • Schedule is from 4 PM-1 AM MNL / 4 AM – 1 PM EST (Monday-Friday)/Potential for periodic flex time or overtime to support application deployments.
