Job description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join a dynamic team within a leading steel corporation. Based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will see you overseeing daily production operations of a steel rolling mill, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

What you'll do:

As a Production Supervisor, your role will be pivotal in managing the daily operations of the steel rolling mill.

  • Manage work-flows by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Monitor productivity and manage a talented and diverse team of workers
  • Oversee the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
  • Perform verification of production output according to regulated specifications
  • Analyse production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Train and develop employees to enhance their skills and capabilities, provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and maintenance engineers

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Production Supervisor role brings a wealth of experience from the steel industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three years of proven experience in a steel rolling mill supervisory role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
