Job Description

The Funds Application Analyst is responsible for developing, documenting and supporting standard and custom reports within the company's systems for both internal and external clients. The role includes administration of systems, access, processes and controls. Relationship building with client services using the applications will be essential, as will understanding pain points and devising solutions, ultimately leading to a deep technical knowledge of the platforms used and input into development roadmap and driving best practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and support reports across platforms using SQL, Excel, and BI tools
  • Maintain systems access, controls, and documentation
  • Collaborate with global teams to translate client needs into report solutions
  • Manage and troubleshoot reporting platforms like Crystal Reports and FIS Investran
  • Drive efficiencies and contribute to system development roadmaps
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in report development and technical documentation
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, text formulas)
  • Familiarity with BI and analytics platforms
  • Experience in financial services, funds industry preferred
  • Bonus points for experience with C#, VB.Net, Java, Python, or Crystal Reports
