
Equipment and Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall management, upkeep, and deployment of the company's construction equipment, heavy machinery, and motorpool vehicles. This role ensures that all equipment and vehicles are operational, safe, and efficiently utilized to support construction projects and company operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee allocation, mobilization, and demobilization of heavy equipment, tools, and construction machinery across project sites.
- Monitor equipment usage and efficiency to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Implement asset tracking and inventory systems for all equipment and tools.
- Manage the company's fleet of light and heavy vehicles, trucks, and service units.
- Supervise drivers, dispatching, scheduling, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure vehicles undergo regular preventive maintenance, repairs, and regulatory compliance (e.g., registration, insurance, LTO requirements).
- Monitor vehicle utilization, mileage, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and enforce preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment and vehicles.
- Supervise mechanics, service teams, and external repair contractors.
- Maintain accurate service and inspection logs.
- Ensure availability of spare parts and consumables, managing procurement and supplier relationships.
- Enforce safety standards in all motorpool and equipment operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure equipment and vehicles meet operational and safety requirements.
- Train drivers, operators, and staff on proper handling, operation, and safety protocols.
- Manage budgets for equipment and motorpool operations, including fuel, parts, and repair costs.
- Evaluate suppliers, contractors, and rental services for cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Prepare periodic reports on fleet and equipment utilization, downtime, and maintenance costs.
- Recommend replacements, upgrades, and disposals of unserviceable equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in equipment and motorpool management within construction or related industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment and automotive systems.
- Experience in fleet management, logistics, and preventive maintenance programs.

Pay: Up to Php80,000.00 per month
