JOB SUMMARY:

The cashier is responsible for processing transactions of customer purchases with a high level of TOP customer service, as this last touch point is crucial in making customers feel that their hard-earned money is valued. The cashier makes certain that all matters pertaining to payments are complete and balanced. Preparation and submission of reports related to in-store purchases are also expected from a cashier.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cashiering

  • Ensures that the last touch point of the customer is a pleasant experience – set a positive tone and provide an efficient cash out
  • Makes certain that all transactions are processed with diligent care to avoid shortage or overage
  • Performs z-read and settlement to make certain that cash and card transactions are consistent with the data in the POS
  • Liable for balancing the purchased amount that was processed erroneously
  • Maintains a balance and complete funds, with corresponding receipts
  • Deposits cash payments daily on weekdays
  • Updates BIR sales journal daily
  • Performs POS opening and closing procedure daily
  • Sends daily sales to mall admin
  • Organizes files and supplies, and maintains a clean cash wrap area
  • Monitors paper bag replenishment in the cash wrap area

Job Qualifications:

  • Preferably college graduate, but college undergraduate (at least 2 years) may also be considered.
  • Sports enthusiast Retail sales experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Customer oriented, confident, articulate
  • Willing to be trained.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php550.00 per day
