About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mould Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation /Multiplast Corporation' in Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our moulding production lines, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the moulding production team, including operators, technicians and assistants
  • Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and product quality
  • Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed and maintain a safe working environment
  • Liaise with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to address any issues or concerns
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to team members to develop their skills and capabilities
  • Analyse production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement new initiatives and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the manufacturing, transport & logistics industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of moulding equipment and production processes, with a focus on quality control and process optimisation
  • Experience with injection moulding machines, blow moulding equipment, and plastic processing parameters
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Proficient in data analysis and report generation to support decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
