Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Tax Compliance Specialist to manage and oversee all Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) tax obligations for our company. The successful candidate will ensure that all tax filings are accurate, submitted on time, and compliant with the latest Philippine tax laws and regulations (TRAIN Law, EASE Law, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Preparation & Filing: Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns (Forms 1601-C, 1601-E, 2550M/Q, 1701/1702, etc.).
  • Compliance Management: Ensure the timely payment of taxes and maintenance of Books of Accounts (Manual, Loose-leaf, or CAS).
  • Government Reporting: Handle Alphalists, SAWT (Summary Alphalist of Withholding Taxes), and SLSP (Summary List of Sales and Purchases) via the BIR Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) or eBIRForms.
  • Audit Support: Assist in handling BIR audits or assessments by preparing required documents and reconciliation reports.
  • Tax Advisory: Stay updated on new Revenue Regulations (RR) and Revenue Memorandum Circulars (RMC) to provide internal guidance on tax-saving opportunities and risk mitigation.
  • Audit Readiness: Organizing all physical and digital receipts to ensure the business is "audit-proof" in case of a BIR Letter of Authority (LOA).

Business Licensing: Oversee the annual renewal of Business Permits and Barangay Clearances

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Being a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience specializing in Philippine tax compliance.
  • Technical Skills: * Proficiency in eFPS, eBIRForms, and ORUS.
  • Strong knowledge of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
  • Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet strict government deadlines.
