Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to oversee and coordinate logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient scheduling, dispatching, and real-time problem-solving to maintain seamless fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate fleet movement during the night shift.
- Dispatch drivers and track deliveries to ensure timely operations.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and relevant teams to resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, routes, and trip details.
- Handle emergency situations and provide immediate support to drivers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transport laws.
- Provide end-of-shift reports and updates to day shift teams.
- Utilize dispatch software and tracking tools to optimize fleet performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation preferred.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in dispatch systems and Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of transport regulations is a plus.
