JOB OVERVIEW:

The Building Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep, functionality, and safety of all building systems and facilities within the mall premises. This includes conducting preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections to ensure a clean, safe, and fully operational environment for tenants, customers, and employees.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


•Conduct daily inspections of common areas, restrooms, hallways, entrances, and technical rooms to identify any maintenance needs.

  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs (e.g., leaking faucets, faulty lights, clogged drains).

  • Support in the installation, adjustment, and replacement of lighting, door hardware, ceiling tiles, and other mall fixtures.

  • Ensure that HVAC systems, elevators, generators, and other building equipment are functioning properly.

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance based on established schedules.

  • Immediately respond to maintenance service requests from mall tenants and mall administration.

  • Coordinate with third-party contractors for repairs beyond in-house scope.

  • Assist in emergency repairs or support during mall emergencies (e.g., water leaks, power outages).

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage rooms.

  • Prepare reports on work performed, materials used, and issues encountered.

  • Comply with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and mall operating procedures.

  • Perform other maintenance-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION

  • Graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Maintenance-related course

  • At least 3-6 months of work experience in building/facility maintenance, preferably in malls or commercial establishments

  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical repair

  • Physically fit and able to work on-call, in shifts, weekends, or holidays if needed

  • With strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Must have a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php21, Php24,139.58 per month
