The Investment Associate will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing new investment and partnership opportunities that expand Globe's footprint into telco-adjacent sectors. The role sits within the Strategy team and will work closely with senior leadership to assess early-stage ventures and potential strategic partnerships.

This role requires strong analytical and financial skills, commercial intuition, and the ability to distill complex opportunities into clear insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate combines the technical rigor of investment banking or private equity with the strategic thinking of top-tier consulting.

Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing & Evaluation

  • Support the assessment of new opportunities in telco-adjacent sectors
  • Conduct detailed market scans, benchmarking, and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities
  • Evaluate potential synergies between target companies and Globe's assets, ecosystem, and existing ventures

Financial Modeling & Valuation

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including scenario analyses and sensitivity testing, for both early-stage startups and mature businesses
  • Support valuation exercises, cap table modeling, and investment case preparation for internal approvals
  • Analyze financial and operational performance metrics to inform investment recommendations

Transaction Support

  • Assist in due diligence, business case preparation, and presentation of investment recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and technical teams to support structuring and negotiation of deals, partnerships, or joint ventures
  • Support the drafting of investment memos, board papers, and internal approvals for corporate and venture investments

Strategic Analysis & Portfolio Support

  • Develop strategic frameworks and business cases for new ventures and expansion opportunities
  • Conduct ongoing portfolio performance tracking and prepare materials for investment committees and senior management
  • Collaborate with venture leads and external founders to support fundraising, partnership discussions, and exit evaluations

Presentation & Communication

  • Translate complex financial and commercial analyses into concise, executive-ready presentations and strategy decks
  • Prepare briefing notes, talking points, and summary materials for senior leadership engagements with potential partners or investors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or corporate development
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and presentation building; must be able to independently build models and decks with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in deal evaluation, due diligence, or transaction support (M&A, venture investments, or joint ventures preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including comfort presenting to senior executives
  • High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical rigor of investment banking or private equity
