About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Motor Pool Officer to manage the company's fleet operations. The role involves monitoring vehicle use, ensuring proper maintenance, and supporting drivers and mechanics in achieving safe and efficient transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily motor pool operations, including vehicle dispatching, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Track vehicle assignments, mileage, fuel consumption, and service history.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in supervising drivers and motor pool staff, ensuring discipline and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventory of vehicles and equipment.
  • Support administrative tasks related to transportation and fleet management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in motor pool, fleet, or transport operations.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management practices.
  • Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or fleet management systems.
  • Holder of a valid driver's license.
