Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial machines, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and conduct effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify performance issues and implement timely solutions.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on machinery components and systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing machine performance and reducing equipment failure rates.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Experience in or familiarity with plastic injection molding machinery and mold maintenance is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy for maintenance record-keeping and equipment monitoring.

Education & Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical certification or associate degree in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Additional training in safety procedures, PLCs, or machine diagnostics is a plus.
