We are looking for a part-time Jr. Web Developer with a keen eye for design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain our next-generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take the lead on innovations and projects.

You will:

  • Responsible for Website development, designing, building, and maintaining.
  • Scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
  • Confer with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop criteria, or provide solutions.
  • Direct or perform website updates that include maintaining hosting.
  • Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through self-learning education.
  • Must perform backup of files from websites to local directories for recovery.
  • Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correct or refer problems to appropriate personnel for resolution and corrective action.
  • Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Determine user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
  • Experience in using WordPress, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby)
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design (Figma)
  • Understanding of basic SEO principles within the website.
  • Ability to multitask projects.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player
