General Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
• Conduct regular check-ins and meetings to discuss project status and gather feedback.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for upselling additional services based on client needs.
• Develops and oversees the Key Account Management program for special clients.
• Conducts research on the existing clients through the formation of the client business profile which include future projects, business expansion plans, subsidiaries, and other lines of business and affiliations.
New Client Acquisition
• Identify and pursue potential clients through networking, referrals, and market research.
• Develop and present commercial frameworks and proposals tailored to prospective clients' needs.
• Identifies new territories, Industries, and clients which the company can pursue.
• Structures commercial models and frameworks for new partnerships and stakeholder management as part of business strategy for special projects involved in PPPs, unsolicited proposals, Design and Build, etc.
Collaboration
• Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participate In marketing Initiatives and events to promote the company's services.
Qualification and Skills Requirement
Educational Attainment:
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering and/or Architecture course.
• A master's degree in business administration (MBA) is a plus.
• Attended at least 3 trainings in the following courses: Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Financing, Effective Negotiation, and Service Recovery and Relationship Management.
Work Experience:
• At least 5-8 years' experience as Business Development Officer in a construction industry or property development field with the following specific on-the-job experience.
• Experience in managing accounts and relationships.
• Experience in direct customer contact, specifically for business-to-business sales transactions.
• Experience in presenting proposals to customers at senior management level.
• Has a good understanding of what is required to develop and maintain the most valuable customer relationships.
• Experience in creating business models and financial runs for new business ventures, closing deals, partnerships and deal structuring.
• Experienced in project management and development, as well as stakeholder engagements and negotiations.
Technical Competencies:
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• Able to confidently converse with industry players within their level.
• Able to create plans for specific KRA that affect the department and other departments.
• Ability to represent the department in interdivision meetings and reports.
• Ability to provide inputs on processes and strategic initiatives.
• Ability to create frameworks and analysis for the purpose of aligning corporate initiatives and improving overall competitiveness.
• Coordination with other division/department such as TSD, Infrastructure.
