The General Accounting Officer is responsible for the accurate recording, reconciliation, andreporting of financial transactions, with specific focus on intertrade and high-volume accountingactivities. The position plays a key role in supporting financial reporting, audits, and taxcompliance, requiring a high degree of accuracy, discipline, and independence.

  • Maintain and monitor intertrade and intercompany accounting records
  • Record, review, and reconcile high-volume financial transactions
  • Prepare accounting schedules and support financial reporting and audit requirements.
  • Assist in tax filing, compliance, and regulatory documentation.
  • Perform account reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure proper organization, filing, and retention of accounting records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.
  • Perform other accounting-related functions as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
  • Timeliness of transaction recording within prescribed cut-off periods.
  • Timely reconciliation and resolution of intertrade balances.
  • On-time completion of month-end and year-end closing deliverables.
  • Quality, accuracy, and audit-readiness of reports and schedules.
  • Timely support for tax compliance and documentation.
  • Proper organization and maintenance of accounting files.
  • Ability to operate independently and meet deadlines.
  • Contribution to process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy preferred(Finance or any related business course acceptable).
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience handling high-volume transactions.
  • With background or exposure to auditing and financial reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of tax filing and compliance.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
