Position Summary:
A QA equipment technician ensures products and processes meet quality standards by performing inspections and tests, maintaining and calibrating testing equipment, and documenting findings. This role involves using precision instruments to verify products specifications, identifying defects, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement improvements and maintain quality control.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Conduct Inspections and tests
- Perform inspections and tests on products and materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and company specifications.
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration
- Maintain, calibrate, and operate testing and inspection equipment to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
Documentation and reporting
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, document any quality issues, and create reports on findings for relevant departments.
Identify and report defects
- Identify, monitor, and report defects and discrepancies to support continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with teams
- Work with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are maintained througout the manufacturing process and to help resolve quality issues.
Other Related Tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the QAQC team and ensure efficient operations.
- Assist with special projects or initiatives related to QAQC team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Atleast High school or Senior High School graduate, College undergrad or with Vocational Course
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a similat role or equivalent within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Optical Measuring Machines (OMM) for dimensional inspection.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct (FAI) and (cpk) to validate product accuracy.
- Experience in performing Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and in-line support to ensure ongoing production quality.
- Familiarity with jig and fixture qualification procedures to verify equipment accuracy and alignment.
- Background in supporting engineering trials by providing dimensional data and feedback on new processes or equipment.
- Proven ability to document inspection results, generate quality reports, and effectively communicate findings to relevant teams.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php16, Php22,000.00 per month
