API Integrations Specialist

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Contractor

Overview

We're looking for someone who can build and optimize API connections across multiple

platforms, specifically HRIS patforms such as Rippling and Sprout. The role focuses on

creating smooth data flow between systems, troubleshooting integration issues, and

supporting both internal teams and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain API integrations between internal systems and third-party applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into reliable API workflows.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Monitor integration performance to ensure stability, accuracy, and uptime.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and client teams to support integration-related needs.
  • Document integration processes, technical specifications, and updates.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and proper authentication handling across all integrations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP, Webhooks).
  • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, OAuth, tokens, and similar authentication methods.
  • Hands-on experience with API tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
  • Familiarity with scripting or backend languages (e.g., Python, , PHP, Ruby).
  • Experience with integration platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Experience

  • Background with SaaS products or software development teams.
  • Experience handling data mapping, ETL, or automation workflows.
  • Ability to optimize existing integrations for performance and scalability.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
