The

Media Planner (Digital)

is responsible for executing media plans and ensuring campaigns are delivered according to the overall strategy. They maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, supporting smooth campaign execution. 

The role involves monitoring campaign performance and recommending optimizations to improve results. While staying current on industry trends, they're guided by the strategic direction set by senior leadership. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.) Campaign Briefing

  • Translate client objectives into actionable media strategies that align with the overall marketing plan.
  • Collaborate with clients, ad ops, or internal stakeholders to understand campaign goals, target audience, budget, and timeline.

2.) Media Planning and Strategy

  • Develop detailed media plans outlining recommended media channels, flight dates, budget allocation, etc.
  • Evaluate various digital media channels and platforms to determine the best options for reaching the target audience.
  • Optimize media budgets for efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing creative assets to meet media-specific requirements.

3.) Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Work with ad ops to provide actionable insights from campaign data and report on performance.
  • Suggest optimizations based on data to improve campaign performance.
  • Assist in preparing performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

4.) Project Management & Relationship Building

  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution and delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication, responding to queries and ensuring deadlines are met.

5.) Ad Technology Management

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Regularly contribute to media best practices, ensuring campaigns leverage the latest tools and tactics.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Proficient in using paid media tools (Google Ads, META Business Tools, TikTok Ads) and data visualization tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau).
  • Strong data-driven approach to problem-solving, able to interpret performance data and suggest improvements.
  • Able to manage client relationships, present data and insights, and organize projects effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present ideas clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Works well within a team, contributing to collective goals while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Efficient in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines, even in a remote work environment.
  • Capable of negotiating media buys and managing resources to stay within budget.
  • Builds strong relationships, and remains customer-centric in all interactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • At least 1 year of experience in media planning, buying, or a related field, or a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Familiar with paid media tools like Google Ads, META Business Tools, TikTok Ads, etc.
  • At least one digital certification related to media planning (e.g., Google Ads, Meta).
  • Eager to learn and adapt, with a strong interest in the advertising and media industry.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong internet connection with clear audio output for remote work.
