About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Credit and Collection Staff to join the dynamic team of our client located in Makati City. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, credit control, and debt collection processes to ensure the timely collection of outstanding payments. The position is based in our Makati City office, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions
  • Contacting customers to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment plans
  • Identifying and resolving billing discrepancies and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Preparing and sending invoices, statements, and collection letters to customers
  • Collaborating with the finance team to reconcile accounts and analyze aging reports
  • Implementing effective credit control procedures to minimize bad debts
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and other ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • At least 6 months of experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
  • Graduate of BS in Finance, Financial Management and/or other Finance and Accounting related course
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and disputes professionally
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records
  • A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Good working knowledge of credit management principles and debt collection best practices
