The Opportunity: We are looking for a Cloud & Systems Architect to be the backbone of the Playbook platform. In this pivotal role, you will own our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and highly available. You will be responsible for everything from managing our AWS environment and automating deployments to collaborating on the infrastructure needed to power our innovative AI systems. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned engineer who is passionate about building robust, modern infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
  • System Reliability & Performance: Ensure the high availability, performance, and security of our production servers and services. Implement and manage robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Develop, manage, and improve our CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of code.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Champion and implement IaC practices using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to manage infrastructure programmatically.
  • AI Systems Support: Collaborate with the development team to provision, configure, and manage the infrastructure required for deploying and scaling our AI systems and services.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure, including network security, access control, and data protection.
  • Incident Response: Serve as a key point of contact for diagnosing and resolving infrastructure-related production issues.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core services.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Solid scripting skills in languages like Python or Bash.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with the infrastructure needs of AI/ML workloads and services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php140,000.00 per month
