JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple environments. This role requires strong technical proficiency, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and maintains AWS infrastructure across Development, UAT, Training, Staging, and Production environments.
  • Ensures cloud systems, services, and instances are healthy, secure, optimized, and up to date.
  • Designs and implements AWS solutions using EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, and other core cloud services.
  • Administers Linux (Red Hat preferred) and Windows Server instances hosted in AWS.
  • Implements automated backup strategies and follows the company's backup and data retention policies.
  • Manages IAM roles, permissions, security groups, and overall cloud access governance.
  • Collaborates with Network Engineering, Developers, QA, and Project Managers to support deployments and troubleshoot issues.
  • Performs system performance tuning, configuration adjustments, and reliability testing.
  • Supports infrastructure design and contributes to enhancements and modernization of cloud architecture.
  • Participates in incident management, root-cause analysis, and daily operational troubleshooting.
  • Contributes to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning using AWS-native solutions.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation, runbooks, and technical operating manuals.
  • Ensures security, compliance, and best practices following AWS Well-Architected guidelines.
  • Ensures all stakeholders have a clear understanding of infrastructure requirements, changes, and technical impacts.
  • Prevents miscommunication by maintaining accurate, timely, and complete technical information across teams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of IT, Computer Science/Engineering, or any related technical course
  • Over
    3–5 years of relevant experience
    in systems administration, cloud engineering, or AWS operations
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management
  • Solid background in Linux administration (Red Hat preferred) and experience with Windows Servers
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPC design, routing, VPN, etc.)
  • Experience with automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Can start at the earliest convenience
