Roles and Responsibilities

  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Helps develop, maintain and update QA team's core processes
  • Experienced in hands-on QA validation (manual)
  • Minimum 3-4 years of QA experience is required
  • Experienced in defect management platform and ability to track, manage, and report on application quality, regression root cause analysis, and plan of action.
  • Experience with Jira defect management platform is required
  • Participate in team activities.
  • Participate in Design discussion sessions with the Clients and developers, understanding client requirements.
  • Basic exposure to client interaction experience is required
  • Coordinate team testing activities for planned releases and emergency code fixes.
  • Execute test cases and report defects, the daily test status as well as the overall testing status.
  • Coordinate UAT Testing and provide execution summary to stakeholders.
  • Obtain final user acceptance for the project scope completion.
  • Reports to QA Lead

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience
  • Significant experience in quality assurance tools and processes, agile methodology, software life cycle, testing, planning, execution & defect tracking.
  • Experience in reviewing Business and Functional requirements, and Business cases and creating a Test Strategy, Plan, Scripts and test data.
  • Experience on UX/UI Visual testing is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills.
  • Has experience in modularizing, developing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts as well as monitoring and analyzing execution results.
  • Preferably has experience in Selenium (Python) or Robot Framework for test automation.
  • Experience in API testing preferable using JMeter and/or Postman is a plus.
  • Special test skills (Automation, Load testing, etc.) are highly appreciated.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git and Jira, familiar with DevOps pipeline is a plus.
