Finance Director

We are seeking an individual to support the financial operations, planning, and strategic initiatives within our finance department. This role is key to ensuring the effective delivery of the company's financial services, including accurate financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and financial analysis.

As Associate Director, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver data-driven insights, enhance the performance of financial services, and contribute to the organization's growth and operational efficiency.

Job Description:

A. Financial Strategy and Planning

• Support the development and execution of financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Participate in long-term financial planning and forecasting to inform and support strategic decision-making.

B. Taxation Strategy and Planning Services

• Design and implement effective tax strategies for clients
• Assist them in maintaining compliance with both domestic and international tax and regulatory requirements.

C. Financial Services Business Development

• Lead engagement teams in driving the delivery of financial services and support to clients.
• Develop sales strategies and drive lead generation efforts to attract potential clients.
• Consolidate the reports of finance, audit, tax team to ensure that the Company meets the Service Level Agreements with the clients
• Manage the teams internally and handle clients externally
• Handle client negotiations, department manpower training, development and coaching

D. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations. E. Budgeting and Forecasting
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Track variances, analyze financial performance, and recommend adjustments to meet targets.

F. Team Leadership and Development

• Manage, mentor, and develop finance team members to support professional growth and skill development.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team, promoting efficient and effective practices.

G. Internal Controls and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and accounting standards.
• Develop and implement internal control systems to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.

H. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work cross-functionally with other departments to drive financial initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
• Act as a financial liaison, providing advice and insights to senior management and department leaders.

I. Risk Management

• Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support initiatives to strengthen the company's financial position and minimize risk exposure.

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate of any course, preferably with a background in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fields.
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or corporate financial management, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or strategic role.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership and team development

Preferred qualifications:

• A Certified Public Accountant
